What does a custom built item cost?

Costs vary greatly when it comes to custom projects based on size, design choices, and materials. We offer a very wide variety of material options to find a happy medium between your aesthetic and budget. Here are some starting prices to give you an idea of what some builds would cost using our lowest cost material options:

-4 to 5 foot standard 4 leg table: $500-$700
-6 foot hardwood table top with trestle base or 4 turned legs: $1500
-48" round hardwood table with trestle base: $1700
-48" round hardwood table with pedestal base: $2400
-60" round hardwood table with pedestalbase: $2800

-Custom cabinetry startings at $500 per linear foot
-Example: a standard built in cabinet for a 10 foot section with lower cabinets, upper open shelving, and a hardwood top would start at $7500

What woods do you build with?

We build using locally sourced North Carolina lumber. The type of wood you select determines the final cost of your item.

We are happy to recommend a wood based on your budgetary, aethetic and fuctional goals for your custom furniture. Below are woods we frequently use organized into tiers based on their cost.

What information is needed for a quote?

Accepted Answer

For tables we typically like to discuss the size, style and type of wood you are looking for in order to give you an accurate quote.

For other projects such as built ins or shelving we ask for rough measurements of the space and a detailed description of what you are looking for in order to provide you with an accurate quote.

Inspiration photos are always helpful and we love to work with you to design tables and built-ins that satisfy your needs!
